February 2020 Baby Hat Donation to Doylestown Hospital
Crafty Hands is a group of knitters, crocheters, hand-workers (and those that want to learn) who meet on the third Friday of each month.
March Crafty Hands
The Crafty Hands group donated 51 baby (22 blue, 22 pink and 7 white/variegated) hats to Doylestown Hospital in February. The Volunteer coordinator sent a thank you letter to the group saying how much the new parents appreciated the hats and how much more special it made the occasion to have something handmade. Check the social hall bulletin board for picture of hats and thank you letter.
Crafty Hands met Friday, February 21st and meeting time was spent organizing and inventorying the Crafty Hands closet. The group has plenty of yarn, knitting needles, crochet hooks and “how to” books available if anyone is interested in starting a project or knows of a group like scouts with crafting interests. See Vicki Berryman with your request.
ATTENTION March Meeting TIME Change: March Crafty Hands will meet on Friday, March 20th from 1PM to 3PM in Room 303. The group is trying a new time in the afternoon for the March meeting in an effort to increase attendance and reduce conflicts with other meetings. See you there!
